One of the most commonly asked questions We get is – What insurance group is the vehicle? The answer is complex as most of the imports we bring do not have a comparable UK spec model so never had an Association of British Insurers rating code applied when new so must be insured on an individual basis. The specialist insurers will be familiar with the popular models and can quote from past vehicle experience or refer to underwriters to give you a quotation. High street local insurers may not have ever heard of the vehicle and so cannot find it in their software which is more tailored to regular models.
